Enva Recycling Scotland is seeking a HGV Driver Class 2, to safely and competently operate HGV vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner. This a full-time and permanent role in Newbridge. Key Responsibilities Report any safety concerns, hazard observations, accidents and incidents in a timely manner to allow full investigation and prevent re-occurrence. Complete daily pre-start vehicle inspections and submit to Transport dept. Report all accidents, vehicle defects, breakdowns. Waste Transportation: Operate vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver waste materials between designated locations. Ensuring compliance with Duty of Care regulations by inspecting waste and completing waste transfer notes, sheeting all loads to ensure secure transit of waste on the public highway. The completion of relevant tickets or the use of the handheld device (As appropriate), detailing the necessary information and obtaining a customer signature. Ensure that health, safety and welfare standards are maintained in accordance with the Company’s safety policy, Risk Assessments, Safe Working Procedures and Instructions. Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab. Assist in the control and co-ordination of work to ensure efficiency and productivity. Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service. Managing Stock Numbers & Stock Area Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Driving licence. Professional and organised approach. Good time management / ability to work under pressure.
