Head of Sales & Marketing
Salary: Dependant on experience - open to candidate expectation
We are recruiting for an exciting newly created Head of Sales & Marketing opportunity with an award-winning luxury care provider operating across home counties. This is a key strategic appointment created to support continued growth, occupancy performance and the ongoing development of the group’s sales and marketing function. The organisation has an excellent reputation within the sector, with a portfolio of high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care homes, including several Outstanding rated services and further developments planned.
The Role
As Head of Sales & Marketing, you will lead the group’s commercial sales and marketing strategy across a portfolio of 9 homes, with a particular focus on driving occupancy growth within newer luxury developments. You will oversee the existing marketing function, support and mentor home-based CRMs and work closely with the senior leadership team to develop creative and commercially focused initiatives that strengthen enquiry generation, conversions and brand presence. This role would suit a commercially minded and relationship-driven individual who enjoys autonomy, creativity and working within a collaborative, non-corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead sales and marketing strategy across the group’s care homes
* Drive occupancy growth and support homes to achieve budget targets
* Support and mentor Customer Relations Managers across the group
* Manage and develop the existing marketing team
* Work alongside external PPC and website agencies
* Develop creative and innovative approaches to enquiry generation and conversion
* Support homes with local networking, events and community engagement
* Oversee marketing materials, branding consistency and promotional activity
* Work collaboratively with Home Managers and the wider leadership team
* Introduce KPI accountability and performance reporting where appropriate
Candidate Profile
* Previous sales and marketing leadership experience within the care sector
* Strong commercial awareness and sales mentality
* Creative thinker with modern marketing ideas and approaches
* Inspirational and adaptable leadership style
* Comfortable working with KPIs and accountability measures
* Hands-on, collaborative and proactive approach
* Able to thrive within a growing, family-run organisation
Working Pattern & Benefits
Primarily Head Office based with some travel to homes as required
Hybrid working available (maximum 1 day working from home)
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
