<div><p>Upperton Pharma Solutions is a Nottingham-based CDMO that specialises in the development and manufacture of pharmaceutical products, providing a complete service from early-stage feasibility to GMP clinical manufacture. Formulations cover a range of delivery routes, typically including oral (tablets & capsules), nasal and inhaled.</p><p>We are entering an exciting phase of growth with the development of our new 7,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art sterile manufacturing facility, designed and built in full alignment with the latest EU GMP Annex 1 (2023) requirements.</p><p>To support this new facility, we are looking for a Manufacturing Scientist with sterile experience who will support sterile manufacturing and aseptic processing activities, alongside process development and technical transfer.</p><p>The role will involve executing manufacturing operations in a controlled cleanroom environment, ensuring compliance with GMP, aseptic techniques and contamination control strategies.</p><h3>Main duties and responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Undertake manufacturing activities as directed, using the company’s processes safely to meet batch production requirements</li><li>Operate various equipment involved in the manufacturing and testing of products, at various batch scales</li><li>Complete all documentation accurately in full to support manufacturing activities, including logbooks, batch records, operational records and log cards</li><li>Manage and maintain equipment and the manufacturing facility, including cleaning duties.</li><li>Support the warehouse team in the receipt and booking in of raw materials and samples where required</li><li>Work and adhere to the Upperton Quality Management System</li></ul><h3>Essential Skills and experience</h3><ul><li>Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant scientific discipline</li><li>Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment</li><li>Demonstrable knowledge of aseptic processing and sterile manufacturing principles</li><li>Experience of completing GMP documentation and batch records
