Role Overview
This is a broad, busy, and hands-on Accounts Assistant position with core responsibilities including:
1. Bank, credit card, and supplier statement reconciliations
2. Aged credit and debtor reporting at month-end
3. Processing invoices and matching them against purchase orders, following up on discrepancies
4. Preparing supplier payment runs
5. Handling VAT returns
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role, preferably in a small/medium enterprise
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Strong prioritisation skills and adaptability to changing priorities
* Flexibility and quick learning ability
* High attention to detail
