You will be part of our ace technology team based at our sites in London. You love all things technology, are great at troubleshooting and are equally happy to roll with the fast-paced changes that come our way. The role is primarily based in our head office in Clerkenwell but will require routine visits onsite at our various London locations. We are in the office 3 days a week and this can increase to 4-5 as needed during our busier production periods. You will work closely with the IT team, supporting and collaborating across all UK sites. Regular on-site presence is important for this role. End user infrastructure predominantly macOS, Okta, Google Workspace, with some M365 and Windows. Key responsibilities System administration Proactively manage deployment, planning and maintenance of software and hardware: Desktop and server management: maintain JAMF and Windows AD, monitor and conduct routine maintenance of on-prem physical and virtual, and cloud services. Network management: switches & firewalls, VPN, troubleshooting DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP etc. Administration of Google Workspace. General office infrastructure: CCTV, Access control, AV, conference rooms, printers etc. Basic scripting: (bash, python, powershell etc.). Maintain documentation. Support Service desk management: 1st/2nd line support in all technical areas, triage and escalate where necessary. On site assistance with end users as well as core infrastructure (data centre). User management Manage user accounts, groups, permissions/access rights - Okta, AD, Google Workspace, Adobe and more. Conduct user onboarding/induction/training, and carry out appropriate off-boarding processes. Vendor, Hardware & Software management Coordinate/manage external vendors for IT services/support: Software/Licensing Hardware procurement, renewals and repairs: servers/networking, end user devices/peripherals. Hardware decommissioning and recycling (e-waste collections certs). Liaise with external consulting when required. Asset inventory management: maintain accurately and audit regularly. Help review health/specifications of deployed hardware and address new requirements: Includes PC rendering workflow spec/build for CGI/motion projects. Assist in budgeting, cost allocation and review across hardware and software. IT Security & Process Help build and maintain process in line with ISO27001 framework: Assist with evidencing/attestations pre-and during IT audits. Monitor AV/EDR reporting and remediate where necessary. Assist with vulnerability management - internal/external pentests /scanning. Technologies Any experience with the following is useful: Identity: Okta, Active Directory, AWS IAM, Google IAM, SAML. Service desk exposure - Fresh service as current solution. Productivity: Google Workspace (some Microsoft 365), Adobe. Virtualisation: VMWare, AWS EC2. Networking: Dell, Juniper, Sonicwall, Linux, Windows & macOS. Storage: Dell, Quantum, Synology - SAN, Tape, server raid array. Antiv-virus/EDR: SentinelOne, JAMF Protect. CGI/3D: C4D, Maya, V-Ray, Adobe AE. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in IT support or system administration. Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and hardware components. Familiarity with IT security best practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Meticulous and methodical approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Relevant certifications (e.g. JAMF, CompTIA A, Network, GWS or AWS) are a plus.
