You’ll be part of a small, talented team creating everything from staircases and windows to wine cellars and libraries — the kind of work that keeps your skills sharp and your day interesting.
What You’ll Be Doing (The Role)

Producing high-quality bespoke joinery for conservation, restoration, and luxury new-build projects
*
Working on a wide variety of items — doors, windows, staircases, fitted furniture, kitchens, wine cellars, and more
*
Reading and interpreting technical drawings to deliver accurate, detailed craftsmanship
*
Taking ownership of your work, ensuring efficiency and precision with minimal supervision
*
Collaborating with a small team of joiners, an apprentice, and a workshop manager to deliver outstanding results
*
Contributing to a positive, supportive workshop culture where craftsmanship comes first
About You
We’re looking for experienced joiners who can hit the ground running:

Strong background in bench joinery, cabinet making, or heritage joinery
*
Ability to work independently and efficiently without direction
*
Skilled in using both traditional techniques and modern tools
*
A keen eye for detail and pride in producing work to the highest standard
*
Adaptable and enthusiastic — happy to take on varied, one-off projects
*
Commutable to Castle Cary, Somerset (this is a workshop-based role)
