Job Description:
As a Fibre Home Installation Engineer at VEA Telecoms, you will play a crucial role in connecting customers to high-speed fibre broadband. You'll ensure installations are carried out efficiently, to the highest standards, and with a customer-focused approach, as you will be working inside clients' homes.
Responsibilities:
* Installing and configuring fibre optic broadband systems in residential properties.
* Testing and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal system performance.
* Educating customers on system usage and addressing any queries.
* Adhering to safety and quality standards during installations.
* Maintaining accurate records of completed work and reporting issues promptly.
Requirements:
* Certifications: SA001, SA002, Confined Spaces, and NSWRA/SLG are essential.
* Previous experience in fibre installation or telecommunications is preferred.
* Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with fibre optic tools and systems.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
* Full UK driving license.
* Availability to commence work on 8th January 2025.
