We’re looking for a talented Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and highly skilled Children’s Community Health Team in Surrey. Responsibilities
* Providing specialist assessment, diagnosis and therapy for children with varied and complex developmental needs.
* Using evidence-based practice to create child-centered intervention plans that support meaningful progress in home, educational and community settings.
* Managing and prioritising your own caseload with autonomy, while receiving support from an experienced Band 7.
* Communicating sensitively and clearly with parents, carers and professionals, ensuring families feel supported and heard.
* Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including paediatricians, education staff and external agencies.
* Supervising junior staff, assistants and students, and contributing to their development.
* Producing clear, high quality clinical reports and documentation.
* Delivering training to parents and professionals.
* Contributing to service improvement initiatives, audits and development projects.
* Maintaining your professional growth through CPD, reflective practice and supervision.
