Job Overview
We're actively recruiting for an experienced Security Officer to join our clients team based in Barton Under Needwood on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out gatehouse duties, monitoring access to the site
* Sign in visitors and deliveries, ensuring they are expected and authorised
* Liaise with colleagues and site staff to maintain smooth operations
* Conduct regular site patrols to ensure safety and security standards are upheld
* Respond promptly to incidents, escalating where necessary
* Maintain accurate records and logs in line with site procedures
Candidate Requirements
* Strong communication skills and professional manner
* Reliable, punctual and able to work the 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to incidents
* Team player with a proactive approach to maintaining site safety
* Previous security or gatehouse experience essential
* Valid SIA licence advantageous
Working Hours
* 4 on, 4 off, 6am - 6pm
An immediate start is available for the successful Security Officer.
