This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will contribute directly to the design and development of cutting-edge electronic and embedded systems powering an innovative range of measurement products.You will work within a multidisciplinary engineering environment spanning electronics hardware, embedded software, cloud/backend systems, and mobile applicationsplaying a key role in shaping both current and next-generation products.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign robust electronic products from concept through to production, developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challengesTake a hands-on role in hardware and firmware development activitiesOversee PCB design and layout, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and manufacturable solutionsDevelop and define test plans for hardware verification and production testingSupport environmental, reliability, and EMC testing during product qualificationPerform circuit analysis including power consumption, component tolerance, and system reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to capture, refine, and implement design requirementsContribute to design-for-manufacture, design-for-test, and product reliability strategies (DFx)Essential Skills & ExperienceProven experience delivering digital electronics designs from concept to productionStrong understanding of microprocessor-based, battery-powered embedded systemsHands-on experience with embedded C on microcontrollersFamiliarity with PCB design and layout processesKnowledge of standard communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB)Experience with test, verification, and validation techniques across the product lifecycleStrong understanding of hardware engineering principles with exposure to embedded software developmentDegree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent industry experience)Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering disciplinesDesirable ExperienceFull product lifecycle development and ownershipExperience with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi enabled battery-powered devicesExposure to environmental and EMC testing during certificationExperience with production test development and manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of analogue electronics designFamiliarity with mechanical/industrial design or manufacturing engineeringExperience supporting certification processes (CE, FCC, ISED)Whats on OfferHybrid working model (Warwick office-based collaboration 23 days per week)Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits packagePrivate healthcare and 24/7 GP accessCompany share scheme25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysSupportive, collaborative engineering cultureProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesRegular team events and company-wide initiativesFree on-site parkingMonthly team lunch eventsThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Electronics/Firmware Engineer looking to take ownership of meaningful product development within an innovative, fast-paced technology business.TPBN1_UKTJ
