Support Worker - Rosendale, Lydstep

£12.60 to £12.80 per hour

Full Time: 43.4 hours per week. A range of hours are available, including part-time and night shifts.

Plus an annual location allowance of £1500.

We are a leading organization dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism. Located in Lydstep, with sea views and the Pembrokeshire hills, Rosendale offers a calm, supportive, and homely environment for up to six adults aged 18 and over.

The main house features four en-suite bedrooms, a large lounge, a teaching area, and a kitchen/dining area. There is also a 2-bed self-contained flat. Activities include beach days, cinema trips, and swimming adventures—because at Rosendale, fun knows no bounds!

A day in the life at Rosendale includes:

* Meeting physical and emotional needs through a supportive environment;
* Supporting recreational activities, outings, and community integration;
* Promoting independence, self-esteem, and celebrating achievements;
* Ensuring support is tailored to individual needs;
* Keeping accurate records of activities, progress, and incidents;
* General housekeeping, including meal preparation.


We are looking for candidates who:

* Are compassionate and caring, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact;
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Are resilient and patient, adaptable to individual needs;
* Are willing to learn and follow team guidance;
* Possess basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication;
* Are flexible to work shifts, including weekends and occasional nights.

Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
