It has played a vital role in shaping Manchester’s music scene and has supported artists from back-rooms to main stage. With its £50million redevelopment, the new look AO Arena will attract more artists and more fans, for many years to come. Made in Manchester, Made for Manchester. About the Role This is a hands-on, people-focused role at the heart of our team. Split between managing the day-to-day running of the AO Arena office and providing dedicated support to the SVP of Operations, you’ll help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll be a key connector—supporting teams, championing our culture, and making sure our people and spaces are set up for success. Refer a friend through our Employee Referral Scheme and get rewarded for helping us build an amazing team Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level executive support to the SVP, including diary management, meeting prep, travel coordination, and handling confidential information. Manage the AO Arena office, overseeing facilities, supplies, third-party suppliers, and leading the People Coordinator. Coordinate team events, internal communications, and drive a positive office culture. Support senior managers with admin tasks, diary management, process improvements, and procedure implementation. Handle basic financial admin such as invoices, POs, and capex tracking. Assist with corporate admin tasks, contribute to projects, and support ongoing operational improvements. We are looking for someone with: Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar administrative role Strong diary management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent attention to detail and time management Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to change Strong communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills Able to build effective working relationships at all levels Maintains confidentiality and operates with integrity at all times Recruitment Process Outlined: 1 st Stage- Intro Call with the Talent Team 2 nd Stage- Intro with GM & SVP Operations Inclusive Workplace At ASM Global, we are committed to leading the entertainment industry towards a greener, faster, and more innovative digital future.
