How you’ll change it up
As an Area Commercial Manager, you’ll oversee the commercial and contractual management of telecoms projects including new builds, city enhancements, BDUK government contracts, and field service frameworks. Your responsibilities include:
* Managing commercial resources and contract controls
* Supporting project variations and risk mitigation
* Providing commercial expertise, including valuation certification, correspondence, claims, and performance data
* Ensuring accurate cost and value data at project and regional levels
* Mentoring junior team members
What you’ll bring to the role
Ideally, you have senior commercial management experience, procurement knowledge of NEC3 ECC forms, and a background in telecoms, civil engineering, or utilities. Additional qualities include:
* Quantity Surveying experience
* Negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities
* Experience managing large capital expenditure projects
* Data-driven financial reporting skills
* HNC/HND or equivalent education
