During the shift you will be required to undertake all aspects of personal care, administer medication, general household duties, food prep, assisting with eating and drinking, trips out, shopping, assisting with college work, feed and medicate cat, clean litter tray and any other reasonable duties that may occur during the shift.
I am a lady with Cerebral Palsy, I employ my own team of female PA's, which I prefer due to the requirement of Personal Care, amongst other care that I require. I live in my own home, and I am currently looking for an additional person to join my team.
I have a good sense of humour, I enjoy visiting friends, days out, theatre, creative writing, I attend a drama group, I am currently studying at Fife College, I also enjoy watching TV and listening to music and audio books whilst on my computer. I have 1 senior cat who is a big part of my life too.
I am looking for a reliable female, who can drive, as I have my own mobility vehicle, who is 25+ for insurance purposes. PVG registered as per current legislation. Preferably a non-smoker, who likes animals and is able to work on their own initiative, has a good sense of humour, who is also kind, honest, caring and loyal.
The hours are made up of 1 x 24.5 hour shift, 10am until 10.30am, which includes 1 sleepover per shift. The hourly rate is £12.60, with 6 weeks holiday per year, with the requirement to cover other staff holidays and any sickness cover as and when it arises. The shift pattern runs on a 4 week rota and will include working 2 Saturdays, 1 Sunday and 1 Thursday. There is a 12 week probationary period.
