The Position
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to strengthen our workshop team. The role involves a broad mix of servicing, mechanical repairs, and fault diagnosis on cars and light commercial vehicles. You'll suit this role if you enjoy varied work, take pride in doing things properly, and want to be part of a garage that values quality over rushing jobs through.
What You'll Be Doing
* Servicing and maintaining vehicles to a high standard
* Diagnosing faults using up-to-date diagnostic equipment
* Carrying out mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, exhausts, gearboxes, and electrical faults
* Completing job cards and service records accurately
* Working efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
* Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and well organised
* Delivering work that meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
What We're Looking For
* Solid experience as a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Mechanic
* Confident mechanical and diagnostic skills
* A reliable, self-motivated approach to work
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models
* Full UK driving licence
* Own tools preferred
