Job Title: Demand Planner - Full-time, Permanent. Hybrid Working
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Demand Planner to join our dynamic beauty business. You will play a critical role in forecasting demand, optimising inventory levels, and ensuring product availability to meet customer needs. By leveraging data analysis, market trends, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will drive operational efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing:
* Develop, maintain, and update demand forecasts for beauty products based on historical data, market trends, promotions, and new product launches.
* Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align forecasts with business objectives.
* Monitor sales performance and inventory levels to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
* Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure optimal stock levels and minimise shortages or excess inventory.
* Analyse the impact of promotions, marketing campaigns, and seasonality on demand fluctuations.
* Provide insights on product lifecycle management, including phase-in and phase-out planning.
* Use statistical models and demand planning software to enhance forecast accuracy.
* Develop reports and dashboards to communicate demand planning insights to stakeholders.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a similar role within the beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG industry.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, forecasting tools, and ERP systems.
* Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and data analysis.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
* Familiarity with beauty industry trends, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics is a plus.
Education & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
* Certification in demand planning or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, IBF) is an advantage.
Compensation:
* £34k to £38k (depending on experience)
* Company pension plan.
* Hybrid working - 2 days in the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays), 3 days from home (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays)
* 31 days of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing to 33 days after 2 years and 36 days after 5 years of service.
