Overview
Sales Account Manager (TheFork) role at Tripadvisor. We are looking for an Account Manager passionate about the restaurant industry to join our team based in London.
What You Will Do
* Manage the relationship with our restaurant customers, offering them a personalized service after joining TheFork network
* Ensure your restaurant portfolio generates significant revenue with TheFork by selling TheFork solutions
* Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
* Provide support via email and phone to your client portfolio, assisting with positioning strategy, revenue management, and online marketing
* Set up action plans defined with Sales and Marketing; collaborate with Marketing Restaurant Offer to develop promotional plans (Festivals, other special offers, YUMS, SUPER YUMS) for your portfolio
* Negotiate favorable win–win conditions to optimize margins and seat-occupancy
* Monitor compliance with T&Cs and quality policies to ensure an excellent B2C user experience
* Provide tool training and support
* Communicate user requirements and work with other departments to improve product relevance of TheFork websites and apps
KPIs
* Monthly revenues generated by restaurants in your portfolio
* Promotions available across your portfolio
* Churn rate management
* Number of restaurants in the YUMS/SUPERYUMS program
* Number and quality of restaurants participating in TheFork Festivals
Requirements
Essential requirements
* Work location: 3 days in the London office
* Experience in account management or relevant role: 2+ years
* Language: fluent English; additional languages a plus
* Self-starter, results-oriented, target-driven
* Knowledge of revenue management issues
* Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively over the phone
* Analytical and creative mindset; able to offer the best solutions to customers
* Ability to establish a climate of trust to develop business relationships
* Autonomous with KPIs and targets
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Desirable requirements
* Experience in internet/tech field
* Experience in pitching and selling promotions/deals/flash sales
* Experience handling a high volume of outbound/inbound calls and portfolios with numerous accounts
