Overview
As a Care Assistant at HC-One, you value kindness above all. You’ll support residents who are people with their own stories, helping them maintain dignity and individuality. You will join the team at Elworth Grange to provide the highest quality care at all times, focusing on physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
Your responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and meals. You will be involved in general activities within the care home, helping residents with limited mobility to use aids, offering emotional support, and delivering care to residents at the end of life with wellbeing at the forefront.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
