**Job Description:**
This role involves working in an Outstanding Local Authority, Kent County Council, recognized by Ofsted for excellence in providing services to children, particularly in adolescent support and safeguarding. The position is based in West Kent, covering Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & Malling, and Sevenoaks.
Responsibilities include:
* Building trust with adolescents and their families to develop effective, long-term solutions.
* Managing complex situations involving extra-familial harm and family conflicts.
* Working across assessment, children in need, child protection, contextual harm, court work, and rehabilitation home.
* Contributing to multi-agency initiatives and supporting less experienced staff.
Qualifications:
* A degree in social work (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
* Registration with Social Work England.
* Experience working with children and families, with an interest in trauma and adverse life events.
Benefits:
* Salary range of £43,810 - £49,989, dependent on skills and experience.
