Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
You will report directly to the Commercial Manager and you will be expected to take responsibility for the Commercial Management of Project(s).

Key responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor will include:
9. Quantity surveying duties in respect of managing projects and work packages
10. Liaise with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control cost
11. Collaborative work with the client to ensure business requirements are met
12. Manage the main contract ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary
13. Preparation and issue of subcontract documentation
14. Assist in the management and performance of subcontractors
15. Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment
16. The preparation of project cost & value reports, budgets and forecasts.
17. Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staff
18. Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
19. Maintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
20. Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role
About The Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Essential:
21. Degree or equivalent
22. Working towards or have chartered membership of a recognised institution
23. Experience in utilities/civil engineering/MEICA sectors
24. NEC3 Experience
Desirable:
25. Experience of managing and developing an individual or small team
