MARCHON is the UK’s premium performance-lifestyle ecosystem, one brand that helps driven people train, fuel and dress for a life without limits. World-class coaching sits at the centre, backed by certified performance nutrition and movement-ready apparel, all amplified by our beacon gyms.
Founded by ex-England rugby player and CEO Ollie Marchon, the company has grown from a single HQ club to a true omni-channel offering: the Train app, a fast-scaling supplement line, and physical hubs that bring the experience to life.
We’re still small enough that every new teammate leaves fingerprints on the product, yet the momentum is real. Our 2026 plans are ambitious, as we make a step-change in evolving our ecosystem between training, supplements and apparel.
Demand Planning & Supply Chain Manager
to own the demand forecasting and inventory planning engine of the MARCHON Supplements business — ensuring we buy the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time, with a clear understanding of the risks and trade-offs involved.
This is not a coordination role. The context matters: the Supplements business is moving from a primarily DTC model into omnichannel, adding wholesale, retail, and marketplace channels on top of a subscription base that already works. That transition makes demand less predictable, inventory sits in more places, and cash gets committed earlier. This role is being created specifically to own that complexity. There is no model to inherit, no process to maintain — you build the planning infrastructure from the ground up at the moment it becomes business‑critical.
Key Responsibilities
1. Demand Planning
Build and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts across all channels — DTC, wholesale, Amazon, and international.
* Maintain and improve demand planning models using historical data and forward‑looking inputs
* Translate campaigns, launches, and channel plans into realistic demand expectations
* Validate and sense‑check inputs from Commercial, Marketing, and Wholesale teams, highlighting assumptions and risks
* Support scenario planning (base/upside/downside) where needed
* Continuously update forecasts based on actual performance
Output: A clear, structured view of expected demand by SKU, channel, and timeframe.
2. Inventory Planning & Purchase Order Recommendations
Own the inventory planning process and support purchase order decision‑making.
* Maintain stock cover targets, safety stock levels, and reorder points by SKU
* Build recommended PO quantities and timings based on demand, lead times, and constraints
* Present clear recommendations (buy / hold / reduce) with supporting rationale and risks
* Highlight potential stockouts, excess stock, and cash exposure early
* Balance availability vs. working capital within defined guardrails
Output: Clear, structured recommendations on what we should buy and why.
3. Supply Chain Coordination
* Track supplier timelines, production schedules, and inbound deliveries
* Maintain accurate data on lead times, MOQs, and constraints
* Coordinate with suppliers, freight partners, and 3PLs to ensure smooth product flow
4. Inventory Health & Reporting
Provide visibility on stock position and risk across the portfolio.
* Track stock cover, sell‑through, and ageing inventory
* Report regularly on inventory position and key risks
* Highlight required actions clearly and early, before problems compound
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Commercial Lead on revenue plans and channel performance; Marketing and Growth on campaigns and demand drivers; and Finance on cash, margin, and inventory exposure. You are responsible for bringing structure and clarity to planning, not just executing requests.
Experience & Skills
* Experience in supply chain, demand planning, or inventory management within a consumer or e‑commerce business
* Strong analytical skills with confidence working in Excel or dedicated planning tools
* Ability to build and maintain structured models and processes from the ground up
* Good commercial awareness — margin, cost, and inventory basics
* Organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working across teams
* Proactive communicator who surfaces risks early and presents recommendations clearly
What Good Looks Like
