There is no better time to start a career within our Therapy team than now!

Would you like secure employment where you can progress your career?

If you want to build a career that provides a genuine sense of achievement and fulfillment, knowing that you can positively impact the young people we support, then look no further and apply today!

Oliver House is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with young people with Autism and severe learning disabilities. You should be a friendly, approachable individual capable of engaging effectively with young people and demonstrating a clear understanding of the role of a Sensory Occupational Therapist. A caring attitude and a desire to improve outcomes for our young people are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of our multidisciplinary team, aiming to improve the lives of the young people we educate both in our school settings and in our four children’s homes in the surrounding area. The role involves performing assessments to identify needs, monitoring progress, conducting observations, providing sensory recommendations, and delivering direct therapeutic work to train our staff.

We seek a candidate with excellent communication skills, capable of conveying sensitive information to young people, their families, and other professionals. You should have excellent time management skills, be self-motivated, and able to organise and prioritise your work to meet deadlines.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with up to 60 young people who have autism, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour. You will be based at Oliver House School and will support two specialist ASD schools and our residential provisions in Chorley and Preston. Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet the needs of the young people.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our highly specialized school and work with a dedicated team committed to supporting our students and children’s homes.

Our benefits include:

* Exclusive access to reward and discount schemes
* Comprehensive induction
* Blue Light Card
* Commitment to ongoing training and career progression
* Paid enhanced DBS
* Wellbeing support
* Cycle to work scheme and more!

If you want to advance your career, Aspris will help you get there.

Aspris is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants must undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the role, including checks with the Disclosure & Barring Service and at least two references covering the last three years. References from previous roles working with children or vulnerable adults will be requested, and may be sought prior to interview.
