MHST Band 7 CBT Therapist/Team Lead/Supervisor
We are an expanding service with established Mental Health Support Teams (MHST). This role is to work as a senior member in a growing early intervention mental health service, delivering evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties. You will hold a clinical caseload, supervise junior staff, be involved with the Whole School Approach, and deputise for the MHST Clinical & Team Lead when necessary.
The service operates within schools to ensure faster access to earlier mental health support. There may be an opportunity to access the Low Intensity Supervisors Training Course (LIST) at Northampton University.
NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust providing physical, mental health and specialty services in hospital, community, schools, and other settings.
Responsibilities
* Hold a clinical caseload and provide supervision to junior staff.
* Provide consultations within schools and direct delivery of evidence-based interventions to support recovery for children and young people referred to the service.
* Be involved with the Whole School Approach and deputise for the MHST Clinical & Team Lead when necessary and appropriate.
Requirements / Ideal Candidate
* Passion for Early Intervention and working with children and young people at an early stage to support emotional/mental health and wellbeing.
* Enjoy working within a team and sharing knowledge with colleagues inside and outside the NHS.
* A keen interest in developing clinical skills and clinically leading with evidence-based interventions.
