The Fish People are a long standing fishmonger & delicatessen based in the southside of Glasgow. We pride ourselves on providing fresh and high-quality seafood, and excellent customer service. We have a friendly atmosphere and a great existing team and we are looking for someone who is confident, polite and able to work to a fast pace during busy times.
The role includes but is not limited to:
* Assisting with the set up of the shop in the morning
* Keeping the shelves and window beds stocked
* Serving customers
* Taking customer orders and dealing with phone enquiries
* Keeping the shop clean and tidy
* Assisting with closing the shop down at night.
Working hours are Wednesday and Thursday We are also looking for someone flexible to cover holidays when necessary. This would be a temporary position through the festive period; however, there may be room for a permanent role for someone who can take on additional weekly hours from January ( an additional 12 hours per week)
