Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to children, young people, and adults with neurodiversity, autism, and learning disabilities in a variety of settings, including residential homes, schools, and community-based services, with consistent weekly hours available for a Support Worker job in the Hertfordshire area.
Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will deliver person-centred support, empowering individuals to achieve their goals and live fulfilling, independent lives, utilising your skills and experience to make a positive impact. Your duties may include supporting with daily living tasks and personal care, promoting independence and life skills, encouraging participation in activities, education, and hobbies, implementing and following individual support plans, and working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Required Skills & Experience
We are looking for individuals who are genuinely passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, with experience supporting people with neurodiversity, autism, or learning disabilities being desirable, although full training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure you have the skills and confidence to excel in this Support Worker role. You should be flexible and reliable, confident working a range of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights, patient, resilient, and committed to delivering high standards of care and support.
