TEACHING ASSISTANTS Required from September 2025 1 x Permanent 30 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8.50am – 3.15pm), term time only 1 x Permanent up to 30 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8.50am – 3.15pm), term time only 1 x fixed term Maternity Cover from 9th September 2025 - 22nd May 2026 18 hours per week (3 days)* * In the event that this date changes due to an early or delayed return to work by the postholder you will be given 8 weeks notice. SLT pay grade C £24,027 - £24,404 per annum fte. (Actual salary £16,334.36 - £16,590.66 based on 30 hours per week or £9,800.62 - £9,954.40 based on 18 hours per week) We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and successful Additional Learning Support team. The role involves working closely with our SEND/EHCP students across a range of subjects to support students’ learning in mainstream classes and in specific Intervention sessions. This would include: Supporting students to access lessons across the school; Developing an understanding of the needs of the students you will be working with; Building students’ self-esteem and confidence; Monitoring, recording and reporting on student progress; Working 1:1 or in small groups with students. The successful candidate will be able to establish a positive, supportive relationship with our more vulnerable students. They will be flexible and able to adapt both to the developing needs of the students and the requirements of the teacher and department. The ability to work calmly under pressure and a willingness to learn and work with our digital systems will be required. First aid/diabetic experience is preferred but not essential.
