We’re looking for a dedicated Careers Advisor to become a vital part of our professional body and help us create an environment where every student knows, understands, and believes that the opportunity is here for them.

* The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week
* This is a 39-week-per-year role, which includes term time plus non-pupil days


A Day in the Life:

You’ll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:

* Manage the provision of careers and labour market information
* Liaise with tutorial managers, mentors and SENCO to identify students needing guidance
* Plan a systematic and structured careers offer to ensure that no child is left behind
* Provide impartial information, advice and guidance to individuals and to groups of students in relation to all aspects of their progression planning


What We’re Looking For

* Minimum 5 GCSE Grades A*-C or equivalent including English and Maths
* Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experienced in working at that level
* Successful experience of providing careers advice
