The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Sheffield for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to manage a caseload of highly complex childrens social care cases, including child protection, looked after children, and carer assessments. You will lead on high-risk cases, support less experienced Social Workers, and act as a Practice Teacher for students on placement.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage complex and high-risk cases, taking sole responsibility where appropriate
* Complete assessments, investigations, and care planning in line with legislation
* Prepare reports for court, case conferences, and statutory panels
* Chair reviews and practice meetings when required
* Co-work cases to support and develop less experienced Social Workers
* Maintain accurate electronic case records
* Work autonomously while reporting progress to senior management
