Responsibilities
The UK Content team partners with the country's leading broadcasters, digital publishers, and creators across entertainment, sport, and news to accelerate content growth and scale on TikTok.
The Creator Manager will partner with a portfolio of sports creators to help maximise their impact on TikTok and expand the supply of high-quality content on the platform. In this role, you will drive creator growth by advising on short-form video strategy, optimising content performance, and supporting key initiatives aligned with team objectives and product priorities. You will serve as a trusted partner to creators, enabling them to use the platform effectively while contributing to the overall health and success of the sports ecosystem on TikTok.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and nurture trusted, long-term relationships with leading UK sports creators to drive sustained growth and success on TikTok.
* Act as the UK market expert for the product team, translating creator needs and industry trends into actionable insights that inform business direction.
* Analyse creator performance data, applying local market context to inform strategy, prioritisation, and business decisions.
* Partner closely with the Head of Sports to ensure strong portfolio management, effective business reviews, and clear growth plans that deliver consistent, measurable impact.
* Collaborate with the Sports Publisher Manager and the Sports Program Manager to support the growth of sports programmes on the platform.
* Support content acquisition efforts and lead onboarding for new creators, expanding content breadth and enhancing the overall user experience.
* Equip creators with the knowledge and tools to maximise TikTok's features, analytics, and best practices, driving stronger performance, engagement, and business outcomes.
* Support creators through end-to-end account management, resolving platform issues, handling verification requests, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience.
* Drive creator engagement via international or local programs, ensuring creators are well-informed and actively participating.
* Engage and support creators at scale through effective community management and streamlined communication channels.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s):
* Proven experience working with creators, adapting strategies and delivering education to support audience growth and sustainability.
* Strong understanding of the sports landscape, including emerging social and platform trends.
* At least 5 years of experience across the broader media ecosystem, with a demonstrated track record in social media strategy and/or partnership and relationship management.
* Hands-on experience working with social media platforms, or deep knowledge of how creators and platforms collaborate to grow audiences and build sustainable business models.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage confidently with creators and cross-functional teams across global markets.
Preferred Qualification(s):
* Experience creating or supporting sports content.
* Strategic, insights-driven thinker who leverages data to make pragmatic, high-impact decisions.
* Strong self-starter and collaborative partner, comfortable leading projects end-to-end while thriving in cross-functional environments.
* Demonstrated success in creator management, account support, and building long-term, trust-based relationships.
* Thrives in fast-paced environments; adaptable, solutions-oriented, and effective at managing both operational and strategic priorities amid change.
