Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will possess experience in janitorial services and be committed to creating a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Duties
* Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces
* Clean and sanitise toilets, washbasins, and other sanitary fittings to ensure hygiene standards are met
* Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
* Maintain cleanliness of floors using appropriate equipment such as vacuums or scrubbers
* Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines to management
* Use environmentally friendly cleaning products where possible to promote sustainability
Requirements
* Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Good organisational skills to manage daily cleaning schedules effectively
* Physical fitness to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
* Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
