Procurement Manager, Burton on Trent
This could be your opportunity to excel as a Procurement Manager, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC's continued success.
In this role, you'll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in finance, along with knowledge of purchasing strategy, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
* Supplier Management
* Purchasing Strategy
* Contract Management
* Cost Management and Budgeting
* Compliance and Risk Management
Qualifications
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Negotiation skills: Ability to secure favourable terms with suppliers.
* Analytical skills: Capacity to analyse costs, market trends and supplier performance.
* Communication and interpersonal skills: Building strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
* Financial acumen: Understanding of budgeting, cost analysis and financial management.
