Job Type: Day -to- Day Supply Teaching Assistants
Salary: £13.75- £14.50 per hour
Start date: Varied start dates in the Autumn term
About the role:
Provide support to the class teacher throughout the school day, monitor and record pupil’s progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
Work with children on a small group and 1:1 basis, delivering high quality lessons and interventions to support a strong understanding of learning.
Uphold the school ethos and implementing relevant policies including behaviour and safeguarding.
Help create an inclusive learning environment where children of all needs and abilities can reach their full potential.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children (personal or professional).
Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant Certificate). The schools have stated this is desirable but not essential.
Has a understanding of the primary curriculum, across different Key Stages.
Is proactive, adaptable and has high expectations with excellent communication skills.
Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and staff.
A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
