With an experienced team behind reputable services such as Chestnuts Care Home, we provide quality home help, home care and live-in care across the UK. Our mission is to help elderly individuals live independently in their own homes, with dignity and compassion. As we grow our services across Weymouth and Dorchester, we’re looking for dedicated carers to join our team. The Role: This is a dual-role position combining hands-on care delivery with supervisory responsibilities. You will work as a Senior Carer while supporting the coordination and quality monitoring of care services in the community. This role requires flexibility, leadership, and a strong commitment to maintaining high care standards. Key Responsibilities: Care Delivery (Hands-On): Deliver high-quality personal care and support to clients in their own homes Take the lead on new care packages to ensure smooth setup and transition Provide cover for sickness, annual leave, and emergency gaps in rotas Assist with medication, nutrition, hydration, and daily living tasks Promote independence, dignity, and person-centred care Maintain accurate and timely records using the care app Supervisory & Operational Duties: Conduct spot checks and quality assurance visits Support with rota management and ensure care calls are effectively covered Monitor care staff performance and provide guidance where needed Support new staff with shadowing and competency checks Assist with on-call duties on a rota basis Report concerns, safeguarding issues, or incidents promptly Ensure compliance with company policies, CQC standards, and training requirements What We Offer: Paid travel time Access your pay anytime with Wagestream Excellent Mileage pay (45p per mile) Annual Car Service & Tyre change allowance Flexible working Free DBS, uniforms & first aid kits Company pension, sick pay & Blue Light card discounts Support with trainings (NVQs) and career progression What You’ll Need: Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in domiciliary or home care NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred) Previous senior or supervisory experience preferred Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Right to work in the UK Expected to work alternate weekends Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills A flexible, hands-on, and solution-focused approach Apply Today!
