Liaison & Diversion Advanced Practitioner – Basingstoke or Southampton
We’re looking for a qualified Mental Health nurse, Learning Disabilities nurse, Occupational Therapist, Health visitor, or Social Worker to join our Hampshire Liaison and Diversion team. You will have a keen interest in Liaison and Diversion and a passion for supporting our service users through police custody, court, and up to prison.

Responsibilities include:
1. Providing assessments, advice, and identifying care pathways in police custody suites and occasionally in magistrates’ courts for individuals with potential health vulnerabilities.
2. Providing timely written and verbal information to police and courts regarding individuals to inform disposal.
3. Building links with referring agencies within custody, court, and probation, acting as a single point of contact for health.
4. Working autonomously, managing your own time according to delegated workload.
5. Operating in police custody from 7am-8pm, 7 days a week, with flexible working options available.
