Role Overview We are seeking an inspirational and innovative leader to head the Computing department at The Orme Academy. The successful candidate will have an absolute commitment to raising standards of achievement and a desire to support young people in all areas of their education.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Computing department and develop curriculum pathways for KS3 and KS4.
Raise standards of achievement and support strong progression in students' learning.
Provide teaching and leadership across computing subjects.
Possibly lead the academy’s digital curriculum across the school, using 1–2–1 iPad devices in lessons.
Qualifications
A proven ability to teach Computing across KS3 and KS4.
Experience in curriculum development and driving digital strategy.
Commitment to student progress and fostering a supportive learning environment.
