JRW Build Ltd is a dynamic, growing construction company based in Yorkshire, delivering high-quality building projects ranging from £50,000 to £1.5 million. We're known for our honest communication, quality workmanship, and professional approach to every job.
While we operate in both residential and commercial sectors, our current focus is mainly on residential projects. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are now looking to appoint our first dedicated Project Manager. This is a significant step for the business, and we're seeking someone with strong experience who can take ownership of project delivery and help ease the day-to-day responsibility from the business owner—freeing up time to focus on strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage residential construction projects across various sites in Yorkshire
* Develop project programmes and oversee effective resource allocation
* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet deadlines and maintain quality
* Monitor budgets and maintain financial control throughout each project
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal policies
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and the JRW office team
* Proactively manage challenges and keep projects moving forward
* Provide regular updates and insights to the business owner
* Attend site meetings and ensure high standards of workmanship and performance
Requirements
* Proven experience managing residential and/or commercial construction projects
* Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and building regulations
* Excellent planning, communication, and leadership skills
* Commercially aware with strong budget management experience
* SMSTS qualification and valid CSCS card
* First Aid at Work certification
* Full UK driving licence
* Able to manage multiple projects independently and lead by example
