Responsibilities
* Servicing a fleet of forklift trucks from the company’s depot in Northamptonshire
* Servicing other material handling equipment as and when required
* Repairing and restoring damaged forklifts so that they are ready for resale
* Cooperating with the Service Manager and Workshop Manager to ensure service is carried out efficiently
* Maintaining a safe and tidy workbench and overall workshop
Requirements
The company has a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background but this is not essential. The company is open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including plant, powered access, commercial vehicles or cranes or other related sectors provided you have strong hydraulics and pneumatics experience. Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic. In terms of location, you must be based in a commutable distance to the depot in Northamptonshire.
