Job Description
Peace Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major heavy civils / infrastructure project. This is a key role responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
You will play a vital part in coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and resources across a complex and fast-paced project environment.
Will be required to work on projects around the Scottish central belt
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee daily site operations on civil/infrastructure works
* Ensure all activities are carried out in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
* Lead and supervise site teams, engineers, and subcontractors
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
* Review and implement RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
* Monitor progress and report to senior management
* Coordinate materials, plant, and labour effectively
* Maintain accurate site records and documentation
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Agent within heavy civils or infrastructure projects
* Strong background in projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, or groundworks
* Excellent knowledge of construction processes and site management
* SMSTS (essential)
* CSCS card (essential)
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
* Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
* Experience on large-scale or high-value infrastructure projects
* Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor
* First Aid qualification
