* Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Business Unit Technical Manager to support our Data Centre division across multiple accounts nationally.
* Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in mechanical and electrical maintenance engineering and excellent interpersonal skills.
* You should be electrically qualified with experience (preferably) in Data Centre environments.
Key Responsibilities
The duties of this role include:
* Providing onsite operations teams and clients with technical SME support.
* Driving operational excellence across all data centres.
* Promoting a risk management culture and leading the adoption and compliance with the DCS Shield program, including CBRE risk management processes.
* Developing and implementing risk reduction strategies to minimise risks and maximise uptime, with effective risk registers and mitigation plans.
* Managing assets with a focus on data quality, FMRs, and maintenance strategies.
* Handling incident management, including root cause analysis, post-problem reviews, and producing incident reports and lessons learned documentation.
* Acting as Senior Authorized Person for HV / LV and confined spaces.
* Undertaking technical compliance audits and reviews.
* Producing technical reports for internal and external purposes as required.
* Mentoring contract-based technical managers, engineering operations managers, and account leads to ensure engineering best practices are adopted.
* Leading apprenticeship and technical training programs to develop operational teams.
* Providing technical SME support to project and business development teams.
* Collaborating with the QHSE team.
* Engaging with the business unit leadership to support growth strategies.
