Contract: Permanent, Full Time (39 hours per week)
Salary: £13.45 - £15.34 per hour + overtime + standby + call out + uplift

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Area 3 network. Your daily tasks will include:
* Carrying out highways maintenance duties as instructed, including winter maintenance when necessary.
* Responding promptly to incidents on the network.
* Promoting customer care by working closely with team members to ensure polite and courteous interactions with clients and network users.
* Conducting daily defect reports on vehicles and ensuring they are maintained in good order.
* Notifying the Regional Network Hub Control Centre about the commencement and end of winter maintenance and managing Roadspace for Traffic Management.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you possess:
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A valid UK Driving Licence.
* Experience and knowledge of strict health and safety operations and their practical implications.
* The ability to work night shifts (with payment uplift in place).
