Overview
The Royal Academy of Music seeks a Concert and Orchestra Assistant to support the delivery of the Academy’s orchestral and ensemble programme and the running of chamber music concerts and prizes. The role aims to ensure a first-class experience of performance activity for students as part of their professional training.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the delivery of the Academy’s orchestral and ensemble programme of activity.
* Support the running of chamber music concerts and prizes.
* Coordinate and contribute to performance-related activities in collaboration with conductors, instrumentalists, and staff.
* Help ensure a high-quality experience for students during performance activities.
Qualifications
* Educated with a degree in music.
* Previous experience of working within arts administration and managing musical events.
* Practical experience of orchestras and ensembles with knowledge of a wide range of repertoire.
* Enthusiastic, highly motivated, with initiative and problem-solving abilities; a good team player.

* Full Time: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Salary range: £29,999 per annum inclusive of London Allowance
