Music Teacher – Secondary (Middlesbrough) Location: Middlesbrough Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Supply / Long-term Start Date: ASAP Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Middlesbrough to recruit a Music Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong music subject knowledge. The Role: Deliver engaging and well-structured Music lessons, including practical and theory-based learning. Provide effective classroom cover when required. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students. Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive, creative learning environment. Support students in developing performance, composition, and listening skills. The Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or has relevant classroom experience in Music (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover). Confident teaching Music across KS3–KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential). Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire creativity. Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.
