Anglian Water is a leading water and water recycling services provider, working with alliance partners to safeguard future water supplies across the region. In partnership with MGroup, Barhale and Kier, the IOS Alliance delivers solutions in civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation across new, replacement and repair projects.
What will you be doing as our new Assistant Project Manager?
You’ll support the Project Delivery Manager and coordinate with Project Engineers and partner representatives to deliver projects and work parcels from planning to operation. The role focuses on timely delivery, embedding sustainability and safety, and ensuring compliance with Anglian Water’s Totex Delivery Process and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Support, and where necessary deputise for, the Project Delivery Manager (PDM).
* Deliver assigned responsibilities in accordance with project phase plans.
* Identify and manage risk and opportunities where appropriate.
* Coordinate and manage contract requirements for design, construction and commissioning.
* Coordinate stakeholder involvement in key decisions and provide high quality customer service and satisfaction.
* Champion Health and Safety by reporting concerns or observations during site visits.
* Draft progress reports and updates for Governance Boards.
Key Skills & Behaviours
* Experience delivering projects or coordinating complex tasks to support planned outcomes.
* Strong relationship‑building skills with multiple stakeholders.
* Organised with strong attention to detail.
* Able to make decisions and escale when required.
* Strong communication skills – confident in written and verbal presentations.
* Driving licence – essential.
* APM qualifications/fundamentals – desirable.
* Engineering degree or relevant experience – desirable.
* Prior construction experience or CSCS card – desirable.
