Overview
Rossall School is among the most successful and prestigious independent boarding and day schools in the North West with flourishing pupil numbers.
We wish to recruit a Cleaner to join our established Housekeeping Team, initially for 3 months but this may be extended.
The hours of work are 6am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. Extra hours may be available at other times. There is a half hour lunch break.
Job Objective
To provide the highest possible standard of cleaning service to students, staff and visitors at all times.
Main Responsibilities
To clean offices, classrooms and boarding houses, including, but not limited to:
* Dust and polish surfaces
* Clean kitchen and lounge areas
* Clean student bedrooms and communal areas
* Empty and clean bins
* Mop floors
* Vacuum
* Bathrooms
* To carry out any periodic cleaning as directed by Matron
Other Requirements
* To be friendly and helpful and to promote the interests of the School
* To be aware of all health and safety rules including health and safety at work, COSHH, fire and child protection
* To attend all training courses as required
* To undertake any additional, reasonable, duties as requested by the Matron or other Manager
