Senior Planner & Associate Planner – Newcastle - Consultancy
Salary: £36,000 - £55,000 dependant on grade and experience + Bens
My client is a well-established planning consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-profile projects across the UK. Their Chartered Town Planners work across a wide range of sectors, including residential, leisure, education, health, energy, public sector, commercial, logistics, agricultural, and strategic infrastructure such as ports, rail, roads and bridges.
About the Role
We are looking for Senior Planners or Associate-level planners to join the Newcastle team. You will be involved in delivering projects across the planning process, including:

Leading and managing a diverse portfolio of projects and clients
*
Preparing and submitting planning applications in compliance with relevant legislation and policy
*
Working on projects across multiple regimes, including Marine, Environmental, Renewable, and Major Infrastructure
*
Coordinating and managing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
*
Engaging with stakeholders, local authorities, and communities
*
Mentoring and supporting junior staff
Requirements
*
Degree-qualified in Planning with relevant experience
*
RTPI Chartered status preferred or working towards
*
Experience in consultancy or EIA management desirable
*
Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
*
