We are currently looking for Cottage Housekeepers to join us and be a part of the SCHLOSS Roxburghe Housekeeping team This is a permanent position, working 21 hours per week. You must be available to work weekends.
We offer a competitive salary of £12.50 per hour plus gratuities* and excellent employee benefits.
*Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid.
As a SCHLOSS Roxburghe Cottage Housekeeper you will be responsible for cleaning of the guest cottages according to the hotel's luxury standards and maintaining the hotel's public areas.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* To consistently ensure that all guest cottages are cleaned, prepared and presented to the luxury standards set out by SCHLOSS Roxburghe to ensure the best quality for our guests
* You will ensure that the furniture, equipment and appliances are in clean and flawless condition, well maintained
* To report any faults or broken items to Housekeeping management
* Ensure that all procedures concerning guest safety are followed including but not limited to; lost property, key control and confidentiality
* You will take pride in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all guest areas
Your Knowledge & Capabilities:
* You are enthusiastic and have a positive personality with the ability to build genuine and trusting relationships
* You are a brilliant multi-tasker and able to organise your time effectively
* You have a key eye for detail and take pride in your work
* You enjoy working as part of a team as much as you enjoy working independently
* You have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
Proven Experience/Qualifications:
* Previous housekeeping experience is not essential as full training will be given
* Ability to communicate proficiently in English
* All applicants must have right to work in the UK
