Job Overview
As part of a national Talking Therapies programme, Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting salaried trainee positions to work across Step 2 services within Wigan, Trafford, and Bolton. Trainees will receive a one‑year training programme with a possible permanent offer upon successful completion.
Salary
£28,392 – £31,157 per annum, pro rata.
Main Duties of the Job
* Providing support to people experiencing anxiety and depression, including those with long‑term physical health conditions such as diabetes and respiratory problems.

Person Specification – Essential Criteria
* Previous experience, either paid or unpaid, working with common mental health disorders
* Has a core profession
Experience
* Educated to degree level
* Can demonstrate experiential learning if not educated to degree level
