Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your ability to upsell menu items and assist in food preparation will contribute significantly to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
* Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly attitude.
* Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills to ensure correct billing.
* Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
* Assist in the kitchen with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully.
* Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
* Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing excellent hospitality at all times.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise during service.
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
* Familiarity with culinary practices and food safety regulations is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services are essential for success in this role.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
