Due to continued growth in our Housing Disrepair department, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Disrepair Paralegal to join our dedicated team.
The Role
As a Housing Disrepair Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload from inception to settlement, assisting solicitors, and ensuring high standards of client care throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated housing disrepair matters
* Drafting legal documents, letters of claim, witness statements, and court bundles
* Liaising with clients, landlords, experts, and counsel
* Conducting research and supporting solicitors on complex cases
* Maintaining accurate case records and updating case management systems
Requirements:
* Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in housing disrepair or a similar civil litigation role
* Strong knowledge of the Housing Act and relevant disrepair protocols
* Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with legal case management systems
