This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, is physically fit, and wants to make a real difference. Youll be supporting individuals with Autism, learning disabilities, and behaviours that challenge, both at home and out in the community.
What the Role Involves:
* Supporting clients in their daily routines - including personal care, light household tasks, and meal preparation
* Taking part in active activities - from daily swimming sessions (no support in the water required, just confidence) to long walks
* Being a positive presence, building trust, and encouraging independence
* Supporting two male clients on active outings and helping with household tasks
* Working closely with other professionals to ensure consistent, person-centred care
What Were looking For:
* Female applicant (due to client preferences)
* At least 6 months' paid care or support experience in the UK
* Physically fit, active, and confident in the water
* Patient, resilient, and able to communicate effectively
* Full UK driving licence and access to transport
* PVG membership (or willingness to apply - well support you)
Shifts:
A rolling rota including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Flexibility is essential, but youll benefit from a consistent 36-hour working pattern once permanent.
